Thank you for your interest in the Young Professional Bible Study Group at St. Matthew. This group is a place for 18-35-year-olds, at whatever stage of life, to foster their faith through God’s word, rejoice in the fellowship of like believers, and grow more adventurous in living out their faith and serving others.
We have several opportunities for you to participate in:
• Bible Study: An opportunity to gather with others, read God’s Word, and ask questions about the text. Studies are led by other young professionals. Previous Bible Study topics have included: “Joyfully Lutheran,” “Everyone His Witness,” as well as Revelation, Esther, and James.
• Fellowship Events: The young professionals at St. Matthew regularly meet for lunch on certain Sundays after church, at other special events, or service opportunities.
• Houston Young Professional Group: We frequently connect with young professionals at other LCMS churches across Houston and join their events.
