¨ 8:00 a.m. Easter Sunrise Worship Service-Join us in worship as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord. ¨ 9:00 a.m. Breakfast– Breakfast will be served by the youth of the congregation in the Fellowship Hall. Proceeds will benefit the Youth Program of St. Matthew. ¨ 9:45 a.m. Easter Craft and Activities– All children are invited to Sunday School room 103 for crafts, activities, and a puppet show. This activity will be supervised, but parents are welcome to join us too. ¨ 10:00 a.m. Egg Hunt- (toddler through grade 5)- The starting point is classroom 103. Children will be released by age, youngest to oldest. The hunt will either be in the courtyard or in the auditorium depending on weather conditions. ¨ 10:25 a.m. Butterfly Release– Once the children are finished hunting for eggs, we will meet in the courtyard for the butterfly release, rain or shine. Everyone who wants to participate will be given a live butterfly in an envelope. After a brief devotion, we will open the envelopes and release the butterflies. ¨ 10:45 a.m. Easter Celebration Worship Service– Join us in worship as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord with special music. |
